These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all interactions, services and engagements provided by Victorian Mortgage Professionals Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), including:

  • Credit assistance and mortgage broking services
  • Pre‑engagement discussions and enquiries
  • Digital, phone, email and in‑person interactions
  • Use of our website, portals, tools, calculators, CRM and communications

By engaging with us or using our services, you agree to these Terms.


2. Nature of Our Services

We operate as a licensed mortgage broker and credit assistance provider under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth).

Our role is to:

  • Assess your circumstances based on information you provide
  • Assist you in identifying suitable credit products
  • Submit applications to credit providers on your behalf

Final approval decisions are made by lenders, not by us.

Any general information we provide:

  • Is factual or general in nature
  • Does not constitute legal, tax or financial advice unless expressly stated

You acknowledge that:

  • Credit decisions should be based on personalised advice

4. Client Responsibilities

To enable us to provide services effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide information that is accurate, complete and honest
  • Inform us promptly of any material changes to your circumstances
  • Review documents, disclosures and communications supplied to you

We are not responsible for outcomes impacted by incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information provided by you.


5. Communication & Electronic Delivery

You consent to receiving communications from us via:

  • Email, phone, SMS, secure portals and digital platforms

This includes:

  • Credit proposals and disclosures
  • Status updates and document requests
  • Regulatory, compliance and service communications

You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.


6. Fees, Commissions & Disclosure

Our remuneration may include:

  • Commissions paid by lenders
  • Fees payable by you (if applicable and disclosed)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for losses arising from lender decisions
  • We do not guarantee approval, rates or outcomes
  • Liability exclusions do not apply where prohibited by law

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.


8. Privacy & Data Handling

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.


9. Termination of Services

Either party may cease engagement at any time.
We may withdraw from acting where:

  • Instructions are unlawful or unethical
  • Regulatory risks arise
  • Information provided is false or misleading


10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes are subject to Victorian courts.
